12 March 2023 was the day when all fans were waiting for a big knock from Virat Kohli in the fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Ahmedabad. The former team India skipper went unbeaten on 59* runs by the end of day three. So, fans were hoping that the veteran batter can finally break his long drought of centuries in the longest format o the game.

However, he did not disappoint his fans as Virat Kohli scored his 28th Test ton in Ahmedabad on day four. It was his 75th international century and the century came in the red-ball format after a long gap of 1205 days. Regarding that, the former team India coach, Ravi Shastri came up with a statement while doing commentary in the match.

Virat Kohli scored 186 runs off 364 balls in the Ahmedabad Test against Australia 

On the air, Shastri said: "600kg Gorilla off Virat Kohli's back after his century." It seemed that the former team India cricketer seemed to say that a burden of 600kg is now off the shoulder of Virat Kohli after this century. But, fans found the dunny angle and came up with some funny memes on social media platforms. Kohli showed great form with the bat in both the white-ball formats for team India in recent months. In the Asia Cup 2022 and 20-20 World Cup 2022, he was the highest run-scorer for the Men in Blue.

Then, he scored centuries in the ODI series in Bangladesh and in the home ODI series against the Lankans. So, before this Border-Gavaskar Trophy, fans were hoping that Kohli might continue that form in the Test format also. But, he finally managed to score 186 runs off 364 balls in the last match of the series. Thus, fans were happy, and due to that innings, India managed to gain a 91-run lead over the Aussies after their first innings.
