Popular digital creative and radio host RJ Mahvash is in the news, not because of her alleged romance with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, but because of her fierce retaliation against a troll who attempted to discredit her.
RJ Mahvash is not available for uninvited commentary, particularly regarding Yuzvendra Chahal or cricket. Mahvash was the target of a troll who questioned her sincerity as a cricket fan after she shared a heartfelt homage to the Punjab Kings and disclosed that Chahal played in the 2025 Indian Premier League with three fractures. However, the well-known presenter and content creator returned the favour with a reaction that is currently trending on the internet.
It all started when Mahvash shared a number of behind-the-scenes pictures from the 2025 Indian Premier League, which featured unscripted situations from the stands and the dressing room with Chahal's current side, the Punjab Kings. She even disclosed that, despite having three fractures, Chahal had participated throughout the full season.
An Instagram user wrote, "She's just grabbing followers in the name of Yuzi," in response to her heartfelt message for Chahal following Punjab Kings' loss to RCB in the IPL 2025 final. “She probably just recently began to watch cricket as well.” Quickly retaliating, Mahvash said, "I have been hosting cricket since 2019, your knowledge is nil chotu! Research!" Fans praised her for her brutal response.
Mahvash had disclosed the severity of Chahal's season-long ailments in her initial article. She wrote, “His ribs got fractured in the second match only and his bowling finger got fractured later. This guy played the entire season with 3 fractures!”
"He gave his everything despite the pain," she said, hailing Chahal as a "warrior" and praising his perseverance. His spirit cannot be questioned by anyone.
Mahvash also proceeded to thank Punjab Kings for their tournament run, describing it as an "honour" to back them this year. She also congratulated RCB on their victory and said, "Well played, boys."
