Riding on a heart-warming knock from Virat Kohli, the Indian Cricket Team registered a 4-wicket win over Pakistan in their first match of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday. After restricting Pakistan to 159, India chased down the target in 20 overs and won the game by 4 wickets. The Men in Blue will be playing their next match against the Netherlands on Thursday.

Notably, India played Dinesh Karthik as the wicket-keeper batter in the clash against Pakistan. Rishabh Pant wasn’t part of India’s playing XI and isn’t likely to play the next match either.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant’s girlfriend, Isha Negi has started her Youtube channel. Taking to her Instagram handle, she updated her fans about her first video on Youtube and also asked them for the ideas for her next videos.

It didn’t take a lot of time for the fans to bombard the post with several comments. Among many, one comment caught the eye of Negi and she even responded to that as well.

“We want Rishabh Pant on your YouTube channel,” wrote the Instagram user.

Later, Isha Negi replied to the comment as she wrote,

“@saurabhkry08 ye main kar leti hu, Usko team mai focus karne dete hai.”

With India playing the next match against a weaker team, they could rest Hardik Pandya to have him fully fit for the match against South Africa. Meanwhile, legendary skipper Sunil Gavaskar reckons that Deepak Hooda can replace the all-rounder for the match on Thursday.

"If Hardik’s got a bit of a niggle, it makes sense to rest him. Because, on Sunday, against South Africa, it’s going to be a big game. So, anybody who has got a bit of a niggle, you can get them a little fresh for the Sunday game. But again, it is a T20 format and you do not want to take any teams lightly. I would like Mohammad Shami to come and bowl because he has played very little cricket. I do believe he should come in and practice," Gavaskar, who is in Australia for the ICC event, told India Today.

India are currently sitting comfortably at number two on the points in the Group 2 with 1 win in 1 match. Bangladesh too have made a winning start but are at the top due to a better net run rate. The other four teams, such as Zimbabwe, South Africa, Pakistan and Netherlands are yet to win a game so far in the tournament.
