In a shocking and unbelievable piece of news, star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant’s car has met an accident. It all happened when the 25-year-old was returning to his hometown Haridwar from Delhi. The initial information understands, he was rushed to the Roorkee-based Saksham Hospital.
The accident took happened at Roorkee’s Narsan Border near Hammadpur Jhal on Delhi-Dehradun Highway.
“Cricketer Rishabh Pant's car met with an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has been shifted to Max Hospital Dehradun after giving primary treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital. The accident took place on NH-58 of Manglaur PS area: SP Dehat Swapan Kishore,” reads a report from news agency Asian News International.

Uttarakhand CM assures all possible arrangements for Rishabh Pant's treatment
“Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed officials to ensure all possible arrangements for the treatment of the injured cricketer Rishabh Pant and to provide an air ambulance if required: CMO,” the report adds further.

Speaking of the incident, Rishabh Pant’s BMW went on to hit the divider at Narsan Border on Delhi-Dehradun Highway. Subsequently, the car immediately caught fire which resulted in several injuries on Rishabh’s body.
As per the latest developments, the Indian southpaw is under medication under the supervision of doctors.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant’s Indian T20 League team Delhi also tweeted for their skipper in the tournament.
“Thinking about Rishabh, Get well soon, Skip,” tweeted Delhi Capitals from their official Twitter handle.

Talking about cricket, Rishabh Pant played a crucial role in the Indian team’s 2-0 win against Bangladesh. On the back of his contributions, India managed to whitewash Bangladesh in the red-ball series.
After getting shocked by the news, former Indian cricketers have also prayed for the star Indian wicketkeeper-batter.
