Ravindra Jadeja deletes his reply to the tweet of Chennai, seems like it's over between him and the franchise

The 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League didn’t go as expected for the four-time champion team Chennai. After losing 10 matches out of the 14 matches they played in the season, Chennai ended in the ninth position in the points table of the tournament. The team management decided to hand over the captaincy duty to senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as Dhoni quitted from the role just before the commencement of the tournament.

Although, Jadeja also left the captaincy role in the middle of the season due to the consistent defeats for the team in the group stage of the league. Later on, he also had to miss the last four matches of Chennai’s campaign in the Indian T20 League 2022. It also led to the rise of speculations over the possibilities of senior all-rounder’s association with the franchise in the future.

All this conundrum and dilemma ended with the wrapping up of the season and the starting of the international cricket season for the Indian team. Apart from all this, the 33-year-old’s social media activities in a recent couple of months have increased the black clouds of speculations regarding his association with the franchise.

Jadeja went on to delete all posts from his official Instagram which had somehow a connection with the Chennai Franchise. A few days back in this back, the world's number one Test all-rounder deleted one of his tweets from his Twitter handle. It left fans in an assumption that the latter might leave Chennai ahead of the next season of the Indian T20 league.

Here’s the reply deleted by Ravindra Jadeja:

The franchise posted that tweet from their official account on the 4th of February, 2022. The caption of the post read, “10 years of Super Jaddu.” Replying to this tweet, Jadeja wrote, “10 more to go.” Later on, he shook everyone by deleting this reply from Twitter.

Notably, the senior all-rounder played his last match for Chennai in the Indian T20 League on the 4th of May, 2022, and came back to the field two months after that. He featured for India in the fifth and last of the five-match Test series against England.
