Prerak Mankad-Ravindra Jadeja (source: Twitter)
Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is always up for some fun and has a great sense of humour. While Jadeja recovers from his injury, his lookalike was spotted playing in the Irani Cup 2022 for Saurashtra. As it turns out, the player, Prerak Mankad's teammate and captain Jaydev Unadtakat also thought that he looked like the Indian all-rounder.
The pacer took to Twitter to point the fact out. He posted a photo of him batting along with Mankad and captioned it, "Glad to have Jaddu in the team.. (in disguise) @imjadeja =@PrerakMankad46". In response, Ravindra Jadeja agreed that there were some similarities between them. "Hahaha very much similar," he commented

As for the match, playing against the Rest of India, Saurashtra faced a terrible defeat. Batting first, they could only amass 98 runs, with only two batters scoring over 20 runs. The Rest of India's pacers were at the top of their game as they claimed all the wickets in the innings. Mukesh Kumar, with his four-wicket haul, was the pick of the bowlers. Kuldeep Sen and Umran Malik also showed great performance taking three wickets each in the game.
In the following innings, ROI capitalized on their bowling performance as they put on a great show with the bat. The team scored 374 runs thanks to Sarfaraz Khan's brilliant century and half-centuries from captain Hanuma Vihara and Saurabh Kumar. The team had a lead of 276 runs after their batting innings.
The Saurashtra batters then had a comeback, as some of the players did well to put up a respectable total on the board. Half-centuries from Sheldon Jackson, Arpit Vasavada, Prerak Mankad, and Jaydev Unadkat aided the team's 380-run total, giving them a 104-run lead.
In the end, the target of 105 runs proved to be very easy for the Rest of India. Abhimanyu Easwaran (63) was on fire as he led the team to victory in the 32nd over of the final innings.
