It was his maiden five-fer and along with him, Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets while both Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan took one wicket each. Speaking of the match, Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bat first. But, Afghanistan spinners were on a roll as they bundled the Men in Green for just 201 runs in 47.1 overs.

“My focus is not in speed, just want to bowl good lengths." - Haris Rauf

For them, Mujeeb Ur Rahman took three wickets while both Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan took two wickets each. Both Fazalhaq Farooqi and Rehmat Shah grabbed one wicket each. But, in reply, Pakistan pacers rattled the Afghan batting lineup and bundled them out for just 59 runs in 19.2 overs. Afghan batters were absolutely clueless against the pace and swing of the Pakistan pacers. Even, fans were left surprised to see them performing in such a way on the same track where Afghanistan spinners roared in the first innings.

Skipper Babar also claimed his spell ‘Game Changing’ and said: "At the toss, felt the wicket was a bit dry. We lost wickets upfront and then Imam and Iftikhar got us to a decent total. We wanted to put 250 on board but unfortunately couldn't. , we just wanted to bowl as many dot balls as possible and hit hard length in the powerplay. Haris' spell was game-changing.”
