Ace leg spinner, Rashid Khan is all set to bid adieu to the Pakistan Super League after being named in the Afganistan squad for the Test series against Zimbabwe. Khan, who is a part of Lahore Qalandars sent out a tweet stating that he won’t take further part in the PSL as it’s time for him to attend his national duties.

Rashid Khan played two games for Lahore Qalandars and delivered decent performances. In the first game against Peshawar, even though he didn’t pick up a wicket, bowled an exceptional spell and returned with figures of 0-14 in his 4 overs. In the next match against, Quetta Gladiators, he had figures of 1-30 in 4 overs. Rashid Khan’s loss is a major blow to Lahore Qalandars.
Zimbabwe will play a 2 Tests and 3 T20I series against Afghanistan in UAE. The first match of the series will be played between March 2 and March 6 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Zimbabwe will be without the services of their key players like Brendan Taylor and Craig Ervine, who'll miss the series due to illness while, Tendai Chatara, Chamu Chibhabha and Peter Moor are out due to injuries.
