While speaking to the reporters, Najam Sethi said: "Record crowd and record ticket sales. Let’s talk about digital. PSL was only at the half stage, so I asked about our digital rating. Najam Sethi show used to have 0.5 rating on TV, whereas PSL is getting rating of more than 11. So it would be 18 or 20, when it completes."

"Over a 150 million people watched it on digital. It is not a small thing. At the same stage, Indian T20 League’s digital rating was 130 million and PSL is more than 150 million. So this is a great success of Pakistan," he further added. Najam Sethi also claimed that they are looking to add two more teams for the next PSL.

“If you ask me what are our plans for the next PSL, keeping it brief my strive is to add two more teams. But obviously, this decision is subject to the approval of the franchises and is impossible without doing the homework. That is because if any franchise suffers a loss by the addition of two more franchises then it is not a good thing to do. It must be a win-win situation for everyone. So I’m doing homework on this. We had a brief discussion with the franchises and after the conclusion of this PSL, we will formally start consulting them the next month about the addition of teams and the model after the completion of 10 years,” Sethi concluded.
