Meanwhile, the journalists also happened to ask about the same in the post-match presentation with Indian head coach Rahul Dravid following the conclusion of the second semi-final against England.

While replying to the journalists, Dravid felt that it would be too early to predict or say something just after a loss in the knockout game. He also backed the senior players for their contributions to the team so far.

"It's too early to talk about it, just after a semi-final game... These guys have been terrific performers for us. We've got a couple of years to reflect on it. These are some really quality players here. Not the right time to talk about or think about this stuff now. We'll have enough time, enough matches as we go on ahead and try to prepare for the next World Cup," said Dravid while talking about the future of senior players including the likes of former skipper Virat Kohli and skipper Rohit Sharma.

Speaking of India’s outing against England in the second semi-final, the men in blue failed drastically in all departments to deliver up to the expectations. The strategy of hitting big in the end didn’t work for Rohit Sharma’s men in the all-important and must-win game against the three lions.

Now, Jos Buttler & co. will lock horns with Babar Azam-led Pakistan in the final of the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup. Both teams will play this match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. Notably, both teams are facing each other in the final for the first after a long wait of 30 years and that too at the same venue.
