R Sridhar Lauds Rishabh Pant For His Fearless Attitude

Ahead of the must awaited 4 Test series versus England, Team India’s fielding Coach R Sridhar has heaped praises on the destructive Indian wicket-keeper batsmen Rishabh Pant. Sridhar lauded Pant for his fearless attitude on the field.

"He is a great package, probably one of the most explosive cricketers and one of the most fearless cricketers going around. Plus, he is a left-hander, so that adds a lot of variation in the middle order. So, all in all, Rishabh Pant as a package is extremely exciting," said Sridhar on the Cricket Connect Show on Star Sports

He further said that he’s working hard to enhance his keeping skills and is a work in process. Sridhar termed Rishabh Pant as a complete package.

"There have been occasions on this tour where he sacrificed his batting to work an extra half an hour or one hour on his wicketkeeping. So, that's great news for everybody who wants to know. He is a work in progress. What you see is what you get with Rishabh. He can give you heart attacks; he can give you heart aches; he can give you heart breaks, but he can also give you moments that take your breath away,"he added.

Rishabh Pant was the star of India’s historic 2-1 win in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and ended the series as their leading run scorer with 274 runs in 3 matches. His unbeaten 89 in the fourth inning of the Gabba Test is being hailed as one of the greatest Test innings of all time.
