The Indian Cricket Board has announced the venue details and the schedule for the Indian Premier League 2023 playoff matches and finals. On the other hand, Qualifier 2 and the final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 26 and May 28, respectively. Ahmedabad will be hosting the final for the second consecutive time. The defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) will look to defend the title on their home ground. The Narendra Stadium is India's biggest stadium with a capacity of around 1,32,000.

Many people will hope Chennai Super Kings and GT meet in the final as the first match of the season was also played between them in the Hardik Pandya-led team defeated CSK convincingly. If they meet in the final once again, itโ€™d be a treat to watch the clash as both are two of the strongest teams in the tournament and have also maintained to be in the first half of the points table.

Meanwhile, CSK is currently clashing against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. CSK skipper MS Dhoni opted to bowl first after winning the toss and the decision proved right as the bowlers kept the line and length tight and didn't let the SRH batters open their hands.

Talking about SRH, the 2016 champions haven't really made the greatest of starts. They began their campaign with two losses but followed it up with two wins that appeared to put them on the right track. However, they lost their last match which was against Mumbai Indians due to which they are currently sitting at the bottom half of the points table.
