What a magnificent turnaround it has been for Multan Sultans who’ve now won four games in a row. They crushed Lahore Qalandars by 80 runs to book their berth in the playoffs. However, despite back to back wins, Multan Sultans have plenty of flaws to rectify before the semi-finals. The batting hasn’t clicked together in most of the matches. Islamabad United probably face their stiffest challenge in the second leg. They are coming off a remarkable win over Peshawar Zalmi in a match that broke all records. Islamabad United had some nervy moments but eventually held their nerves to win the contest. With the likes of Usman Khawaja, Colin Munro, Brandon King, Asif Ali, they have a decent batting lineup while Hasan Ali, Akif Javed, Hussain Talat back them up with quality bowling options. It's going to be a closely fought affair - no doubt about it. But with momentum on their side, Multan Sultans will fancy their chances more.
