The formalities are completed and the PSL-6 is all set to resume from June 5 in Abu Dhabi. At one point, the PSL - 6 looked done and dusted when Emirates Cricket Board( ECB) requested the PCB to get all the stakeholders involved in PSL vaccinated which was very difficult for the PCB considering the time constraints. However, the PCB successfully managed to convince the ECB to relax some of the restrictions. The players are likely to depart for UAE on May 26.

Though an official announcement is yet to be made, it is reported that there will be five double headers, four in the round-robin stage and one in the playoffs. The tournament is likely to conclude on the pre-decided date of June 20. Three hotels have been booked in Abu Dhabi with two teams staying at a hotel each. Since many foreign players will be unavailable due to various reasons, the PCB is also considering conducting a mini-draft to rope in the replacements of unavailable players.
