The saga has been continual for some time, and it all started when the actress spoke with Bollywood Hungama. In the interview, Rautela stated that a man named 'RP' had been waiting for her in Delhi for the entire night, while she had dozed off. Pant responded to the controversy with an Instagram story in which he called her out saying, "people craving attention". However, he deleted the story after a while.

"It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them," he wrote in his story.

In the meantime, Rishabh Pant is part of the Indian squad training in Australia for the 20-20 World Cup 2022. However, the southpaw's form in recent times has been a big concern. Despite his proven batting prowess, Pant has struggled to deliver in the shortest format of late. Dinesh Karthik's rise, on the other hand, is giving the 25-year-old a headache. The southpaw will have to overcome this and prove his point in the mega event.

The Men in Blue will begin their World Cup campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on the 23rd of October. The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) will host the showpiece event.
