'PCB wil be officially declared as beggar' - Fans roast Pakistan as Kamran Akmal urged his nation to quit from the 2023 ODI World Cup

The Two Asian giants and arch India and Pakistan are all set to take on each other in their tournament opener in the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Both teams will play this match on the 23^rd of October at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. Although, apart from this action on the field, there is already a heated battle going on out of the field.

The two nations have arrived at a situation of deadlock following the recent statement from the Indian cricket Board’s secretary Jay Shah. Notably, Jay Shah came up with a firm denial of India’s traveling plans to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.

For the 2023 Asia Cup, it is decided that the tournament will be held at a neutral venue - Jay Shah

"We will have Asia Cup 2023 at a neutral venue. It is the government which decides over the permission of our team visiting Pakistan so we will not comment on that but for the 2023 Asia Cup, it is decided that the tournament will be held at a neutral venue,” said Shah to ANI.

Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Kamran Akmal came up with a suggestion to the Pakistan cricket Board for not participating in the ODI World Cup of 2023.

"Only Pakistan should host Asia Cup 2023 and if that does not happen then Pakistan should not play against India at any level, be it ICC events’ matches, Asia Cup matches, or even their match on October 23,” said Akmal to a Pakistani TV news channel.

Although, this comment from Kamran Akmal gave a chance to the Indian fans for taking a sly dig at the latter. They took no time in going after Akmal on the social media platform Twitter. Fans went on to advise or warn the former cricketer that if Pakistan does so then it will never be a business of loss for India. It is Pakistan who will be on the danger end in that scenario.
