The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the schedule for the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League. The tournament will resume on June 9, with the final being played on June 24. There will be six doubleheaders, including one on 21st June, when the qualifier and eliminator 1 will be played on the same day. The matches will start at 9:00 PM PST while in the case of doubleheaders, the first match will get underway at 6:00 PM PST while the second match will start at 11:00 PM PST.
The tournament will resume with fourth-placed Lahore Qalandars taking on third-ranked Islamabad United in the 15th match. The qualifier and eliminator one will be played on June 21 while eliminator two will take place on June 22. The final as mentioned earlier will be played on June 24.
Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars resumed training on Wednesday while the other teams will start their preparations from Thursday. Players and support staff who have completed their seven-day isolation will be allowed to join their franchise and train with the squad.
The Pakistan team was set to depart for England on June 23 but PCB pushed their departure by two days to accommodate the PSL. The team will now board the flight to Manchester on June 25. Post landing, the players will be transported to Derby for the quarantine period. The team will move to Cardiff on July 6 where the first ODI will take place on July 8.
