PBKS Squad 2026: Full player list after IPL 2026 auction

With a budget of Rs 11.50 crore and four spots to fill, including two overseas positions, IPL 2025 finalists Punjab Kings entered the IPL 2026 auction in an attempt to improve their team after losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the championship match.

The team concentrated on building depth rather than making eye-catching acquisitions because they already had a solid foundation. Under the direction of captain Shreyas Iyer, PBKS has managed to maintain a solid and well-balanced core. With Prabhsimran Singh, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, and Harnoor Pannu providing a solid Indian core, their batting group combines youth and experience. 

At the IPL 2026 auction, Cameron Green stole the limelight as Kolkata Knight Riders shelled out INR 25.20 crore for the Australian all-rounder, making him the third most expensive player in the league’s history. Chennai Super Kings, meanwhile, made a strong statement by aggressively backing uncapped Indian talent, with Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma emerging as the costliest uncapped players ever in the IPL.

PBKS were quiet in the auction for the better part of the event. They invested in Cooper Conolly from Australia, who impressed with his batting and spin bowling. PBKS also bough left-arm pacer Ben Dwarshuis to bolster their pace attack, while adding Praveen Dubey and Vishal Nishad to complete their squad.
