Pat Cummins omits Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma from his all-time Ind-Aus ODI XI ahead of the series

Australia's captain, Pat Cummins, has selected his all-time India-Australia ODI XI and will miss this series due to a back injury. He has omitted Rohit and Kohli, who are regarded as two of the best white-ball players of all time, incidentally, from his team.

Rohit Sharma, who has amassed 11,168 runs in the 50-over format, has been left out of Pat Cummins' ODI XI, which now has David Warner and Sachin Tendulkar as the two openers. An all-Australian upper middle order consisting of Ricky Ponting, Steve Smith, Shane Watson and Michael Bevan has been selected by Pat Cummins. He has chosen MS Dhoni to be the team's finisher and wicketkeeper.

Even though Virat Kohli has amassed 14,181 runs and has the most hundreds (51) in ODI history, his team does not have a spot for him in the middle order.

Zaheer Khan is the only Indian bowler that Pat Cummins has selected for his team. With Brett Lee, Zaheer, and McGrath forming a potent pace attack in his team. The primary and lone spot for the team's top spinner was awarded to Shane Warne.
