Now, ahead of the tour, surprising news has come out for fans as Ishant Sharma is all set to do commentary during the tour. The pacer has not taken retirement from the red-ball format so far and therefore, fans were left surprised after hearing that he would do the commentary. They shared their views on social media.

Ishant Sharma has played 105 Tests so far

Recently, Ishant Sharma shared some fascinating, unheard stories about Virat Kohli in a recent episode on Ranveer Allahbadia's YouTube show. He said: "I have never seen him cry, but I know that he was saddest when his father expired. We were playing a Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka. He was batting overnight, and he used always pick me for the match. We used to go from Patel Nagar to Ferozshah Kotla. He was very serious (that day), and there was a video analyst with him".

"I asked him why he was so serious, but he did not reply. I gave him a tapli (a gentle knock) on the head. Then the other person told me that his father has expired. I did not know how to react. We were 17. He still batted and scored 80 runs as well. If something like that had happened to me, I don't think I could even have gone to the ground," he further added. Speaking about Ishant’s career so far, he has played 80 ODIs and 14 T20Is. In the Test format, he has played 105 matches and taken 311 wickets, at an economy of 3.15 and a strike rate of 61.6.
