Mumbai Indians (MI) will be in action on 16 April 2023 when they will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the ongoing IPL. The clash will take place at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, and hence, MI players were having intense practice sessions. However, Arjun Tendulkar was also seen during the sessions.

From that, now an image has gone viral where he was seen having a chat with his father and the former great cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar. Seeing that, some fans came up with funny tweets. In the 2022 IPL mega auction, MI bought Arjun for INR 30 Lakhs. They even retained him for this season. But, still, he is yet to make his IPL debut for MI.

This season, MI suffered a major blow as pacers like Jasprit Bumrah and Jhye Richardson got ruled out of the competition due to injuries. So, fans were hoping to see Arjun Tendulkar making his debut as he is quite handy with his left-handed batting and left-arm pace deliveries. But, still, Rohit Sharma and his men have not shown any faith in him. So, fans are still wondering whether he will make his debut this season or not. During the pre-tournament press conference, the MI skipper was asked about Arjun’s chances of getting a debut. In reply to that, Rohi said: “Good question. Hopefully”.

Head Coach, Mark Boucher said: "Arjun is just coming off from an injury. He is going to be playing tonight. Hopefully, we can see what he can do. I think he has been playing very good cricket, especially in terms of bowling, in the last 6 months. So yes, if we can have him available for selection, it will be pretty good for us". As of now, MI have won only one game in their first three matches.
