Pakistan World Cup 2023 Schedule, Time, Fixtures, Venue

The 13th edition of the ODI World Cup is all set to begin on 5 October 2023 and the final will take place on 19 November. However, 20 November has been kept as a reserved day for the final of the World Cup 2023. On 27 June, the Apex Council of Cricket and the Indian Cricket Board announced the full World Cup schedule. Pakistan’s only World Cup triumph came in 1992.

In the recent two 20-20 World Cups in 2021 and 2022, the Men in Green lost in the semi-final and final respectively. So, fans are hoping that Babar Azam and his men can win the World Cup for the second time in their history this time around. Pakistan’s first match will be on 6 October when they will face one qualifier team. Then, they will face another qualifier team on 12 October. However, both these matches will be played in Hyderabad.  

Then, they will travel to Ahmedabad to face arch-rivals India on 15 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium. After that, in Bengaluru, Babar Azam and his men will face Australia on 20 October. On 23 and 27 October, they will lock horns with Afghanistan and South Africa respectively. Both matches will be held in Chennai.

After that, Pakistan will play against Bangladesh in Kolkata on 31 October. Then, they will travel to Bengaluru to face New Zealand on 4 November while their last league game will be against the defending World Champion, England in Kolkata on 12 November. Pakistan will play all of their matches across five venues. Notably, all of their's matches will kick off at 2:00 PM IST (Day/Night) apart from the game against the Kiwis which will begin at 10.30 AM IST.
