The Indian T20 league is the biggest T20 league in the world. However, it is an absolute pity that players from Pakistan can't feature in it. As there are many world-class Pakistan players in the shortest format of the game, if given a chance, they would have certainly set this league on fire. Today, we shall be taking a look at Pakistan players who can earn big in ITL if allowed to play.
1) Babar Azam:
Babar Azam is currently one of the best batters in the world for a reason. Very few players can bat as consistently as him. Moreover, his record in the shortest format of the game is marvellous, to say the least. He has scored 2620 runs in 73 T20Is at an average of 45.17. This includes 25 fifties and a hundred as well.
2) Mohammad Rizwan:
In the last 2 years, Mohammad Rizwan has emerged as one of the most consistent players in the world. The fact that he averages over 50 (51.22) in T20Is speaks volumes of his abilities. Add to that his superb skills with the gloves. Thus, the keeper-batter could be on the wish list of almost all the franchises if he was allowed to play the Indian T20 league.
3) Shaheen Afridi:
It is no secret that the biggest T20 league in the world has always had several world-class pacers. However, if Shaheen Afridi was allowed to feature in it, the excitement would be on a completely different level. The speedster's ability to pick wickets up-front is one of a kind. In the 39 T20Is he has played so far, Afridi has picked 45 wickets at an average of 24.93.
4) Shadab Khan:
It is safe to say that Shadab Khan is a complete package when it comes to the shortest format of the game. Not only can he control the flow of runs in the middle overs, but he can also pick the crucial wickets. Besides, he is more than handy with the bat as well, and has played several noteworthy knocks in his career so far. With the demand for leggies in the Indian T20 league, Khan would have bagged a fortune if he was to go into an auction for the T20 league.
5) Haris Rauf:
One of the most difficult tasks in a T20 match is to bowl at the death. Thus, as Haris Rauf is a specialist in it, several teams would have loved to have him in their side. The speedster has taken 41 wickets in 32 T20I innings at an average and strike rate of 24.61 and 17.49 respectively. Despite bowling most of the difficult overs, his economy rate is 8.44, which is decent in this format of the game.
