Speaking in the pre-match press conference, Salman Ali Agha asserted that his side is confident of winning the silverware, adding that if his side plays the best cricket, executing their plans, they can beat any team.

"We will win. Our attempt is to play our best cricket. And we know that if we play our best cricket and execute our plans for 40 overs, then we can beat any team,” Salman stated in the pre-match press conference.

Furthermore, when Salman was asked about Suryakumar Yadav missing the photoshoot with the trophy ahead of the grand finale, he said it’s completely the Indian skipper’s call whether to come or not.

"It is completely his call, whether he wants to come or not. I can't do anything about that,” he added.

Additionally, he also observed that there is a lot of pressure on both sides heading into the grand finale. He also admitted that his side made more mistakes comparatively, adding that the team with few mistakes will come out on top in the title clash.

"There is a lot of pressure on Pakistan and India, and if we say that there is no pressure, then it is wrong. But yes, we have made more mistakes than they have, and that is why we have not won matches. I think in the match between Pakistan and India, the team with fewer mistakes will win the game," Salman observed.

Before concluding his media conference, Salman also stated that the coin toss might not play a major factor in the clash for the silverware. Notably, in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 campaign, toss didn’t play a major factor throughout the campaign

"I don't think that toss has been as important in any game so far because the toss is not in your control. So, when you see it, you neither make a team nor make a strategy. So, I think toss is the way to start the game. And I think it will remain the same tomorrow as well," he concluded.
