According to the report, Saudi Arabia government representatives and Indian Premier League franchise owners met to talk over the proposed league's suggested schedule. The Age has alleged that certain instructors have discussed it with the media outlet but have asked to remain unnamed. It is also known that the Saudi Cricket Board is trying to persuade the International Cricket Council to modify its policies and permit Indian Players to play in the projected World's Richest League.

The resulting league will be the richest cricket league in the world

It's important to note that the Apex Council of the game must issue a Non-objection Certificate before any league in the world can take place. Additionally, the International Cricket Board is reportedly considering approving the league since it will promote the sport's growth in the Arab nations.

Two new leagues were launched earlier this year in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. In order to boost interest in the sport, the leagues have added franchises from the Indian Premier League. Notably, teams in the SA20 and International T20 League have been purchased by franchises like Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals.

However, Indian players are not permitted to play in any international competitions in order to preserve the Indian Premier League's exclusivity. It will be fascinating to see how Indian Players in Foreign Leagues will affect the Indian Cricket Board's major revenue stream. Fans are unhappy with the news article and worried about the Indian Premier League in the meanwhile. "This is not going to help the game," a Twitter user wrote.
