‘Out dedo nahi toh keema bana dunga’ - Fans react to viral absurd image of Krunal Pandya with Umpire from LSG vs SRH clash

On 7 April 2023, the stage was set at the Ekana Cricket Stadium as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) locked horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the ongoing IPL. Both teams were looking for a win after losing their respective last games. But, LSG did not disappoint their home crowds as they won the game by five wickets, thanks to the all-round performance from Krunal Pandya.

The star all-rounder was in top form with both the bat and ball. But, while bowling, an absurd picture of Krunal Pandya has gone viral on social media with the on-field umpire. Seeing that, fans went crazy and shared their funny views on Twitter. Speaking of the image, Pandya was seemed going to take the ball from the umpire but fans came up with some wrong and funny interpretations.

Krunal Pandya grabbed three wickets while scoring 34 runs with the bat against SRH

Speaking of the match, Markram won the toss and opted to bat first. But, LSG spinners were on a roll as SRH scored only 121 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Krunal Pandya was the star of the show with the ball as he picked up three wickets for 18 runs in four overs. Along with him, Amit Mishra grabbed two wickets while both Ravi Bishnoi and Yash Thakur took one scalp each. For Hyderabad, Rahul Tripathi was the highest run-scorer with 34 runs off 41 balls. 

During the chase, LSG lost two wickets after scoring 45 runs in 6 overs. Then, Krunal Pandya came out to bat and stitched a 55-run partnership with the skipper KL Rahul. Pandya scored 34 runs off 23 balls, including three fours and one six. Finally, they chased down the target in 16 overs and won the match by five wickets. He also won the Player of the Match award for his performance. Thus, it was the second win for SRH of this ongoing season.
