Former India skipper Virat Kohli managed to silence his critics with a one-word, cryptic tweet, and an Instagram post. In that tweet, there was a quote that is β€œWhat if I fall... Oh but my darling, what if you fly.” The post was captioned 'Perspective' on both platforms. The single-word captioned post was enough to silence his critics even though he needs to score big runs.

Most of the fans have supported him in this difficult situation. Currently, he has been struggling to get a half-century, let alone getting a hundred. In the last few months, he has managed to get only three fifties across all competitive games. Two of them came in the Indian T20 League against the eventual winners, Gujarat.

Recently, the 1983 World Cup-winning skipper Kapil Dev called for him to be dropped from the T20I side. Meanwhile, he has been rested for the limited-overs series in the Caribbean Islands. The right-hander will play the third ODI against England, to be played on July 14 in Manchester. It will be interesting to see how he shapes up in the Asia Cup, which will be played in late August. The 33-year-old is expected to make a comeback in the tournament.

However, the fans perceive that he has been dropped for the series. With a weakened bowling attack of Nicholas Pooran's team, it could have been a great opportunity for him to make a comeback.
