The first match between Thunders and Royals saw the former winning the match by a comfortable margin of 40 runs. Batting first, the Thunders posted a commanding score of 167 on account of Shoaib Khan’s unbeaten 69. Ayan Khan also chipped in with a handy contribution of 34.

Later, Thunder bowler Ganesh Chandrashekhar’s four wickets bundled out Royals for just 127. Their innings lacked momentum and impetus. Barring Pratik Athavale, none of the Royals batters could get going.

In the second game of the day, the Titans won the match by six wickets, with four balls to spare against the Warriors. The Titans batters paced the run chase well with Zeeshan Maqsood top-scoring with 58 runs. Opening batter Khurram Khan laid a perfect foundation by scoring 49 runs. Meanwhile, the Warriors managed to look good in the patches but failed to win the key moments. Their batters posted a competitive score of 154, but the bowlers failed to pick regular wickets in the middle phase of the innings.

On the other hand, the final match of the day of Oman D20 league was a low-scoring thriller, with Giants coming on top by five wickets. Chasing just 125 against Busters, the Giants lost two early wickets in the form of Pranav Mehta and Ghazanfar Iqbal. Azamat Ullah-Qazi and Abdullah Faizan then stabilized the innings. The duo scored 42 and 37 respectively to take the team over the line.
