Brisbane Heat started the match well, thanks to a good opening partnership between Usman Khawaja and Colin Munro. The duo played aggressively and helped the side to cross the 50-run mark in the first 4.3 overs. in the first 3 overs, the pace duo of Olly Stone and Paris bowled well. But Glenn Maxwell released all the pressure by conceding 19 runs in the fourth over of the match.

Munro batted throughout the innings, allowing others around him to strike well. Khawaja batted well and scored 28 runs in 19 deliveries. Marnus Labuschagne also batted well, as he scored 30 runs in 23 balls. All the batters played the spin duo of Maxwell and Usama Mir well. In the middle opvers phase, Munro and Labuschagne gave no chance to the spinners.

Sam Billings batted very well in his limited stay in the middle. the English batter was undone by a fellow teammate, Olly Stone. After the dismissal of Labuschagne and Billings, in came Max Bryant, who took no time to get going. The right-handed batter hit some useful boundaries towards the end. In the last 3 balls, Bryant hit three consecutive boundaries. It helped Brisbane well to post 214 runs on the board.

At the same time, it raised a lot of questions. Munro was batting well at the other end after getting set. The fans are not happy that Bryant did not give a strike to Munro, which would have helped him to get to the milestone. Some others are happy with the fact that Bryant scored 3 boundaries in a row and compensated for it.

Here's how the fans reacted to it:
