The New Zealand contingent have boarded their flight to England where they will lock horns with the hosts for a two-match Test series. The series will serve as a preparation for the marquee clash with India for the World Test Championship title. The Kiwis' haven't toured England for a Test series since 2015, where they drew the two-match series 1-1.
Their most recent battle in Tests was before the pandemic, when England toured New Zealand. The hosts managed to win the series 1-0. Talking about their recent form, England are coming back from a 3-1 drubbing against India while New Zealand last played a Test series against Pakistan in 2020-21 which they won with ease.
