Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is gearing up for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka which starts in Galle on July 16. As such, the Pakistan skipper was spotted with a new look, with a clean-shaved head. A funny video is doing rounds on social media where Babar can be seen sporting his new look with a wide smile. He later puts on a black cap on his clean-shaven head.

The 28-year-old has been enjoying some quality off-season time. He was last in action during the series against New Zealand at home. In the five ODIs, the right-handed batter scored 276 runs, averaging 55.20, including a century. In the five-match T20I series, he also amassed 130 runs at a strike rate of 146.07, including 101* off 58. The ODI series was won by the Men in Green 4-1, while the T20I series was tied 2-2. He will next be in action in the two-Test series against Sri Lanka which will be their first shot at getting off the mark in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25.

Not the first time Babar Azam is sporting a bald look

Notably, this is not the first time Babar Azam is flaunting a bald look. Last year in April, Babar visited Saudi Arabia to fulfil his religious duties. He was then seen in a bald look, dubbed the Umrah look. He posted pictures of himself from the Mecca on both Twitter and Instagram. Azam was in an ihram and had shaved his head following religious tenets; the Kaaba could be seen in the distance. He garnered similar attention from fans that time around as well.

"Blessed to be at the doorsteps of the first house of Allah SWT. Meri khush qismati dekho k mehmaane Haram Tha’ira (I have been fortunate that I was a guest at the Grand Mosque)," Azam wrote on social media platforms.
