Mumbai Indians look stronger than Chennai Super Kings: Brett Lee

Former Australian pacer and commentator Brett Lee has come up with his comments on the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, starting on March 22.

Brett Lee is of the opinion that Mumbai Indians need to gain momentum by winning a few of the matches initially instead of losing to make their way to the playoffs. On the other hand, he felt that CSK has lost a few of their great players and for the same reason, he rated MI as being stronger than CSK for this season.

“What has generally happened with Mumbai Indians in the last four to five years is that they lose their first four to five matches. Now, Mumbai Indians need to change that. If they start well and win a few of their first six games, they will gain momentum and be in a strong position for the playoffs. If MI does that, they can win their sixth title,” Lee said while speaking on his YouTube channel.

“For CSK, it is time to rebuild. They have lost some great players, and while there is new talent, consistency will be key for them. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, look stronger than CSK,” he added.
