MS Dhoni was spotted sporting a ponytail hairstyle a few days ago

Earlier, a video circulated on social media recently, showing 42-year-old MS Dhoni with a ponytail. Fans speculated about its continuity in the 2024 IPL season. Throughout his illustrious career, Dhoni has not only made headlines for his explosive batting and agile wicketkeeping but has also grabbed attention with occasional changes in his hairstyles.

Dhoni who is popularly known as "Captain Cool" initially sported long hair when he first represented Team India in international cricket. However, after securing the inaugural  T20 World Cup in 2007 and leading India to their second Cricket World Cup title in 2011, he underwent a notable hairstyle change. In the recently concluded IPL, the CSK also won the title under Dhoni. With this win the CSK franchise also became the most successful IPL franchise alongside Mumbai Indians.
