Indian pace bowling Paras Mhambrey recently said “If I say coaches can mold a bowler like Shami, I’d be dishonest. Nobody can create a second Mohammed Shami. If a bowler consistently lands the ball on an upright seam every other bowler would be Mohammed Shami”

The former Indian pacer also said “Shami has honed this skill through immense hardwork, evolving into the accomplished bowler that he has become. Bowling each ball on the seam with a flawless wrist position, making it move both ways is a unique skill. Many bowlers, even when landing deliveries on the same witness the ball straightening after pitching”.

Paras Mhambrey ended by saying “Honestly, I never expected this kind of dominance. Bowling out Sri Lanka for 50 and doing it again versus South Africa and bowling them out for 80. We anticipated our strong attack to bowl well but their sustained excellence on the biggest stage was remarkable”
