Still now, in the last two editions, there was no Pakistan team and now, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have sent approval for the league. Compared to the eight teams in the last season, nine teams will play this time around. Listening to such updates, fans shared their views on social media.

India Legends have won both editions of RSWS so far under Sachin Tendulkar's captaincy

The first edition was played across 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Initially, it had five teams from India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, West Indies, and Australia. But, the Aussies refused to travel due to the Covid-19 restrictions and hence, in 2021, Bangladesh replaced them and England also got added. In the second season in 2022, the Aussies returned along with the addition of a team from New Zealand. However, in both finals, India Legends met with Sri Lanka Legends and came out victorious.
