Indian skipper Rohit Sharma happened to be in both a funny and brain fade moments at the time of toss for the ongoing second of the three-match ODI series against New Zealand. This funny incident happened when the 35-year-old was there in the middle for a toss alongside his Kiwi counterpart Tom Latham.
Presenter Ravi Shastri and match referee Javagal Srinath were also present there alongside both the skippers. Sharma was supposed to spin the coin and eventually, he won the toss. But subsequently, he seemed to almost lose his senses on being asked by Srinath to bat or bowl first. This gesture from Sharma left everyone present there in a peal of laughter.

Speaking of the match so far, the men in blue are bowling first after winning the toss, and the bowling attack led by senior pacer Mohammed Shami has completely outmuscled the top and middle order of the visitors.
New Zealand lost six wickets only on the score of 60 runs in 20 overs having star batters Glenn Phillips and Mitchell Santner there in the middle. Senior Indian pacer Shami has completely rattled the visitors’ batting lineup by scalping three wickets by conceding just 18 runs in 6 overs with an outstanding economy rate of 3.00 along with one maiden over to his name.
Apart from Shami, Siraj, Shardul, and Pandya have also scalped one wicket each to outmuscle the batting lineup of the visitors.
