'Match Dekhna band kar denge' - Fans fume as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma gets omitted from T20Is against NZ

The All India Selection committee of the Indian Cricket Board has announced the squad of team India for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand and the T20I series having the same number of matches. Apart from that, the selectors have also selected the squad for the first two of the four-match Test series against Australia.

Speaking of the Indian squad for the T20I series against New Zealand, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will lead the team. At the same time, the regular skipper Rohit Sharma and senior batter Virat Kohli have been omitted from the squad for the shortest game format against Australia.

This decision from the selection committee didn’t go down well with the Virat and Rohit fans. They immediately took to Twitter and lashed out at the management for ignoring both veterans from the T20I template.

Notably, Prithvi Shaw has also been included in the squad of the Indian team for the three-match T20I series against New Zealand. He has got a chance in the national team after a long wait.
