Mohammed Siraj has impressed everyone with his brilliant performance in the first innings of the ongoing first of two-match Test series against Bangladesh. He scalped three wickets and ended up the second-highest wicket-taker following a five-for of Kuldeep Yadav in the same innings. On the back of the Kuldeep-Siraj duo's heroics in the first innings, India wrapped up the hosts only on the score of 150 runs.

Coming back to Siraj, he hasn't been quite impressive in the second innings and has failed to scalp any wicket so far on the fourth day of the game. Apart from his bowling in the match, the 28-year-old is on the receiving end of the trolls from the Indian cricket fans for being an over-aggressive approach on the field.

Speaking of the current status of the game on the fourth day of the first Test, the hosts have lost their five wickets while chasing the target of 513 runs in the fourth innings of the series opener against India. Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan has just arrived in the middle to accompany his skipper Shakib Al Hasan.

Recently, former skipper and senior batter Mushfiqur Rahim has fallen prey to the Indian spinner Axar Patel. Notably, Bangladesh still needs 265 runs to win the match given only five wickets remaining. All-rounder Axar Patel has scalped two wickets so alongside one wicket each by Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, and first-innings hero Kuldeep Yadav.

At the time of filling this copy, Bangladesh have lost another wicket in the form of Nurul Hasan Shanto who fell prey to Axar Patel and the brilliant wicketkeeping skills of Rishabh Pant. So, now Bangladesh has lost six wickets on the score of 238 runs in 88 overs.
