Marnus Labuschagne reveals his favourite meal in Pakistan

Marnus Labuschagne is in Pakistan with his national team. The Australian and Pakistan teams are playing a historic test series. Labuschagne was the second-highest scorer for Australia in their only batting innings at Rawalpindi in the first test. He scored 90 runs off 158 deliveries, out of Australia’s score of 459 runs. The two teams are now in Karachi for the second test of the series. The Australians received a warm welcome in Karachi as they arrived at their team hotel.

On Thursday, Labuschagne shared a picture of his lunch on Twitter. He seemed to be enjoying the local Punjabi cuisine of Dal and Roti for lunch. Labuschagne shared the picture with the caption- “Daal and roti for lunch too. Delicious”

The Australian star batsman is seemingly enjoying the local flavours. The Tweet earned about 19K likes within two hours and nearly saw 1.5K retweets. Meanwhile, Labuschagne would be looking to continue his good run and contribute significantly to Australia’s efforts in the second test at Karachi.

Labuschagne has impressed the cricket fraternity since his debut. In his young career, he has played 24 tests for Australia. He has scored 2310 runs in his Test career at an average of 57.75, including six Test centuries to his name. He has also played 13 ODIs for his team, scoring 473 runs at an average of 39.42. Notably, Labuschagne was ranked the number one Test batter in the recently published World rankings. Labuschagne was one of the big names, who remained unsold in the mega auction for the Indian T20 League’s 15th season.
