India skipper Rohit Sharma is currently in isolation at the team hotel after testing positive for COVID -19 on June 25. That is the reason Sharma didn't come out to bat against Leicestershire during the day. With five-day isolation necessary for him, it looks like he is likely to miss the fifth Test against England on July 1. However, the 35-year-old will be tested again on June 26.

Meanwhile, with KL Rahul unavailable for the game, fans are demanding for Virat Kohli to lead the team. For the unversed, Rahul was appointed as the vice-captain of the team. Currently, he is ruled out after sustaining a groin injury ahead of the South Africa series. The right-hander will head to Germany for his surgery. With no other option, the team might look towards Kohli.

Also, not to forget, he was leading the team last year when they were playing the five-match series. The team is leading the series by 2-1 and it will be fitting if the 33-year-old leads the team to glory. As of now, it looks like Rohit might miss out with only five days left at the start of the game.

Meanwhile, the world number two Test team has the opportunity to create history. Apparently, after 2007, they haven't been able to win a Test series in the European country. At that time, Rahul Dravid was leading the team in the three-match series. The team won by 1-0, drawing the first and third game and winning the second one.

Coincidentally, Dravid is part of the team but as a head coach. The former India skipper will be looking to guide the team to victory just like he did 15 years ago. However, it won't be easy this time around as the changes in the England team, leadership and coaching staff have done wonders. They have managed to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 against New Zealand in the three-match Test series. Currently, they are playing their last game of the series in Headingly.
