LSG Squad 2026: Full player list after IPL 2026 auction

After letting go of seven players, including two foreign names, the Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants entered the IPL Auction 2026 with a purse of Rs 22.95 crore. LSG had a poor season and ended ninth, despite making headlines last year when they broke the IPL auction record by acquiring India's top wicketkeeper-batter Pant for Rs 27 crore.

Before the IPL 2026 auction, the franchise acquired Mohammed Shami and Arjun Tendulkar in player trades. Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, and Aiden Markram, who were all overseas, ended up being the team's top three run scorers. Before the auction, LSG needed to fill four of the six international spots.

Wanindu Hasaranga, a spin-bowling all-rounder from Sri Lanka, was their first choice in the bidding war. LSG had no rival to their bid and acquired the player for his base price of Rs 2 crore.
