Indian Premier League (IPL) has been a great tournament for fans over the years. Players from all around the globe have also enjoyed playing in this tournament for their respective tournaments. However, several top batters have played in this tournament over the years and they have smashed many records.
20-20 has always been a format where batters get to be seen hitting big boundaries. But, sometimes, bowlers have come up with some big performances. On days like those, batters have failed cheaply and teams got bundled out for small totals.
Here are the top five lowest totals scored by teams in an inning in IPL:
Kolkata Knight Riders (67 vs MI)
In the 38th match of IPL 2008, KKR batted first and got bundled out for just 67 runs in 15.2 overs. In reply, MI chased down the target in 5.3 overs with eight wickets to spare. Shaun Pollock won the Player of the Match award. It is the fifth-lowest total in the history of IPL.
Delhi Capitals (66 vs MI)
In the 45th match of IPL 2017, MI batted first and scored 212 runs for three wickets. In reply, DC got bundled out for 66 runs in just 13.4 overs. Thus, MI won the match by 146 runs, and Simmons won the Player of the Match award. It is the fourth-lowest total in the history of IPL.

Rajasthan Royals (59 vs RCB)
In the 60th match of IPL 2023, RCB batted first and scored 171 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. In reply, RR got bundled out for 59 runs in 10.3 overs. Wayne Parnell won the Player of the Match award. It is the third-lowest total in the history of IPL.
Rajasthan Royals (58 vs RCB)
In the second match of IPL 2009, RCB batted first and scored 133 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. In reply, RR got bundled out for just 58 runs in 15.1 overs. Thus, RCB won the match by 75 runs. Rahul Dravid won the Player of the Match award. It is the second-lowest total in the history of IPL.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (49 vs KKR)
In the 27th match of IPL 2017, KKR batted first and got bundled out for 131 runs in 19.3 overs. But, in reply, RCB got bundled out for 49 runs in 9.4 overs. Thus, KKR won the match by 82 runs and Nathan Coulter-Nile won the Player of the Match award. Till now, it is the lowest team total in the history of IPL.
