Messi made full use of the winter break and had a lot of fun with his family. He was seen attending a concert in Argentina. While nothing can be confirmed, it could well be a source of infection.
Meanwhile, France reported 219,126 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday. It was the fourth consecutive day that the country recorded more than 200,000 cases. France has now joined United States, India, Brazil, Britain and Russia in countries with more than 10 million cases.
Messi last represented PSG during the 1-1 draw against FC Lorient on December 22. PSG are set to take on face fourth-tier club Vannes OC in the French Cup on Monday.
