Former Sri Lanka cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan is widely regarded as one of the best spin bowlers of his generation. The off-spinner dominated the best batsmen of his era. Be it in Sri Lanka or Australia, Murali would bamboozle the opposition on any pitch and conditions.
800 wickets in just 133 Tests at an astonishing average of 22.7 speaks volumes of his wicket-taking ability. He is still the leading wicket-taker in the longest format. Not only in Tests, but Murali used to spin a web in the ODI format too. The master spinner accounted for 534 wickets in 350 ODIs.
What set him apart from the rest of the bowlers was his unusual action that troubled many batsmen. Due to his unorthodox action, he was reported for chucking on a few occasions. However, with little modifications, the champion bowler came back stronger from the adversity.
While the rest of the young and upcoming off-spinners might find his action tough to imitate, it comes naturally to his son Naren. The junior Murali has a strikingly similar action to his dad. Recently the video of father and son bowling was shared by the Sunrisers Hyderabad on their official Twitter account.

Murali is the spin consultant for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and on many occasions, his son can be seen in nets, practicing spin bowling with Muralitharan.
