India had a horrible start to the third Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Indore against Australia. After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma elected to bat first, and fans were expecting a solid batting display from the batters. But, India failed miserably and got bundled out for just 109 runs in 33.2 overs. 

Then, in Australia’s first innings, all Indian spinners tried hard but managed to take only four wickets at the end of day one. But, India lost all three reviews as Rohit Sharma showed faith in their bowlers. Rohit Sharma had one of his worse days as he lost all three reviews inside the first 50 overs.

It was Ravindra Jadeja who pushed Rohit to take all those three reviews on his bowling. But, in each case, it came out wrong and the decision did not go in favor of the Men in Blue. Umpire Nitin Menon dismissed one LBW appeal while umpire Joel Wilson turned down the other two. Now, an image has gone viral where Rohit Sharma was seen requesting a review. But, at that moment, the home side were already out of a review. It seemed that the team India skipper forgot that completely and went for the review. However, he quickly got remembered and came up with a smile.

Speaking of the match, Rohit Sharma had a forgettable match so far with the bat also. In the first innings, he scored 12 runs off 23 balls, including three fours. While in the second innings, Rohit scored 12 runs off 33 balls without any boundaries. After bundling out India on 109 runs, the Aussies scored 197 runs in 76.3 overs. Thus, they managed a lead of 88 runs over the Men in Blue. Currently, India are in a spot of bother as they have already lost three wickets for 69 runs in 25 overs. However, after seeing that viral image, fans went berserk and came up with some funny tweets on the social media platform.
