Team India will be in action again against Australia on 1 March 2023 in Indore. It will be the third match of the ongoing BGT. India have shown great domination so far by winning the first two Tests comfortably. So, fans will hope for another clinical performance from the Men in Blue. However, the fourth Test will take place in Ahmedabad.
Now, reports have come out that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will watch that match with the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese from the stadium. However, no official announcement has been made so far. But, it will be Albanese’s first India tour if he comes after he became the Prime Minister in May 2022.
The fourth Test between India and Australia will take place in Ahmedabad
Recently, Albanese mentioned his visit to India in a tweet after meeting Mr. Jaishankar. He wrote: “It was wonderful to meet with @DrSJaishankar his morning ahead of my trip to India next month. We discussed our strategic partnership, economic opportunities, and the people-to-people ties that enrich our nations.” Speaking of the team’s performance in the series so far, Australia have been in terrible form. Their batters have looked absolutely clueless against the spin trio of team India. The former Australian cricketer, Allan Border has also slammed the Aussies for their poor show in the series.
While speaking to Fox Sports, Border said: “I’m angry about the way they went about it today. “It was panicky, frenetic sort of batting and nobody got in there to stem the flow with some good defensive cricket. They were all just getting out playing sweep shot, reverse sweep to just about every ball. You can’t get away with that on that sort of track. You’ve got to have a method." He also raised question on the performance from Pat Cummins both as a player and a skipper in these two matches.
Here is how fans have reacted to the news of both Prime Ministers of the countries watching the 4th Test together:
