Now, he came up with a huge statement in a recent interview as he expressed the desire of becoming the PCB Chairman one day. Currently, Najam Sethi is the PCB Chairman. Before him, the former cricketer, Ramiz Raja held that post. However, Pakistan had some forgettable results at home in 2022. Hence, the Board sacked Ramiz Raja and brought Najam Sethi to that post.

Here are the shared tweets:

"I want to become PCB chairman and produce superstars for Pakistan” - Shoaib Akhtar

Speaking of the statements, Shoaib Akhtar said: "I want to become PCB chairman and produce superstars for Pakistan. I want to produce 50 superstars for my country, then increase the count to 100, 200, and eventually 2000. I owe a lot to Pakistan cricket and it's my wish to serve Pakistan". He also added that current Pakistan skipper Babar Azam can become the greatest batter in history if he manages some improvements. He said: "Babar Azam can become greatest batter in the history if he brings improvement in his batting strikerate."

Shoaib Akhtar further added: "There is no superstar in Pakistan Cricket Team rightnow because they cannot speak on camera. If a cricketer can't speak on camera than how will he be able to perform on ground." Akhtar also claimed that if he was in place of Shaheen Afridi in the 20-20 World Cup 2022 final, he would bowl by taking injections. Akhtar said: "If I were Shaheen Afridi, I would have taken injections in my knees for Pakistan in that T20 World Cup final. I would have taken painkillers and bowled those two overs, I would fall down, get up again, fall again, get up again and still bowled." Shaheen Afridi bowled just 2.1 overs in that final as he hobbled off the field after picking up an injury against England.

After hearing such statements from Shoaib Akhtar, fans came up and shared their views on Twitter:
