Former legendary Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is celebrating his 41st birthday today the 12th of December. The former swashbuckling southpaw had given countless cherishing moments for the Indian cricket fans throughout his entire international cricket career. The Chandigarh-born cricketer gave the most special ones out of those memories with his all-around heroics in India’s World Cup-winning campaign of 2011.

He kept delivering the performances with great perseverance despite enduring malignant cancer. On the special occasion of his birthday, the entire Indian and international cricketing fraternity is remembering the thankless contributions of Yuvraj Singh he produced throughout his entire career for the men in blue.

Meanwhile, former Indian opener and Yuvraj’s teammate Gautam Gambhir also took to Twitter to extend good wishes to the former.

“Happy Birthday to the best white-ball cricketer India has ever produced! Yuvraj Singh,” read the tweet posted by Gautam Gambhir on his official Twitter handle.

Although Gambhir’s birthday tweet for Singh didn’t go down well with some of the die-hard fans of former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli. They accused the Delhi southpaw of demeaning and understating the contributions of the greats like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Virat Kohli.

Fans immediately took to Twitter to lash out at Gautam Gambhir. They called out the latter for being jealous of his own teammates.

Notably, Virat Kohli recently completed his 72nd international century against Bangladesh in the third and last of the three-match ODI series. The 34-year-old former skipper scored 113 runs off 91 balls with 11 boundaries and two sixes to his name.

The Delhi batter has surpassed the former Australian batting great Ricky Ponting to become the second batter in international cricket to score the highest century. Now, he is only behind the former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar. Kohli has now 44 centuries in the ODIs alongside 27 Test centuries to his name, he has also a T20I century to his name in an international career of more than 14 years.
