MS Dhoni has always been one of the finest cricketers in the history of Indian cricket. Not only in India, but he also has a solid fanbase all around the globe. Under his captaincy, India won the 20-20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013. He also guided the Men in Blue to the number one spot in the red-ball format.

Now, Dhoni has managed to add another feather to his hat as the Marylebone Cricket Club included him as their Honorary Life Member. Along with him, other Indian cricketers like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Mithali Raj, and Jhulan Goswami have been included. But, fans have come up and start to troll the cricket club for including the former team India skipper.

MS Dhoni failed to score a single overseas century in any format of the game

This Membership gets awarded to individuals for making an exceptional contribution to the game in general. Guy Lavender, Chief Executive & Secretary of the Marylebone Cricket Club, said: "We are thrilled to be able to announce our newest cohort of Honorary Life Members of the club, as we prepare for the new international summer. The names that have been announced today are some of the greatest international players of modern times, and we are privileged to now count them as valued Members of our Club. We are also pleased to be able to announce two individuals who have been awarded this honour for their monumental contributions off the pitch."

MS Dhoni is currently busy playing for the Chennai franchise in the ongoing Indian T20 League. As per reports, this might be his last season in this tournament. Dhoni has been a great leader in this tournament also. He has led the Chennai franchise to four titles so far. However, for Team India, he has enjoyed a great career. Dhoni played 538 international matches across all three formats and scored 17266 runs. In his illustrative career, he scored 16 centuries. Among them, 10 centuries came in ODIs and six centuries came in Tests. But, none of them came in overseas conditions. So, fans were in shock to see him getting included in the Honorary Life Member list.
