Yuzvendra Chahal is arguably one of the most loved cricketers. Thus, a lot of wishes have been poured from the cricket fraternity on Twitter as it's his Birthday. Most of them have come from his teammates who are currently with him. It is to be noted that India are playing a limited-overs series against the West Indies. On the other hand, players such as Suresh Raina have also gone on to wish him.
Notably, his Indian T20 League franchise, i.e. Rajasthan, have also wished him. Also, his first team in the league, Mumbai, wished him on the occasion and the current winners, Gujarat did the same. Meanwhile, he took two wickets in the first ODI against the West Indies which proved to be match-winning. Talking about him, he is a mischievous character off the field.
Kuldeep Yadav, who wished Chahal, mentioned the same in the Tweet posted while wishing the latter. Talking about his achievements, the Jind-born player has represented his nation in chess at junior levels as well. After this, the Haryana player quit the sport and took cricket and has never looked back since. Notably, he played Chess on his father's advice.
When he decided to quit the same, he took the outdoor sport as a career. Within a few years, he came into the limelight after picking 34 wickets in the National Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy in 2009, ending the tournament as its leading wicket-taker. After which, he was inducted into Haryana's state side. Two years later, Mumbai signed him for the cash-rich league, but he didn't play a game.
The leggie only played for the five-time champions in the now-defunct Champions League T20 in 2011. In the final of the tournament against Bangalore, he took two wickets and was economical. Three years later, the spinner was signed by Bangalore in the auction. This year, he played for Rajasthan for the first time and was the highest wicket-taker of the 2022 edition as well. However, the team couldn't win the final against Gujarat. Meanwhile, Twitter was filled with wishes for him
